Sharon Lynn O'Connell (Thomas-Page-Lucas) of Oaklyn, NJ passed away very peacefully, after a short battle with cancer, on Friday, June 13, 2014 with her son at her side.  Sharon was 50 years of age.

Sharon was an amazing mother and gramma.  She dedicated her life to provide, protect, and care for her son and granddaughter.  Sharon enjoyed the beach, reading, dancing, and was always ready for a good party.

Sharon is survived by her son Leonard C. Lucas III and his fiancée Nikki, granddaughter Abigail D. Lucas, and her dear friend Anthony DiMattia.  She also is survived by her brothers Carter Page, Kevin Page, and Thomas Page; and her sister Kimberly Page-Nicklow. She was preceded in death by her mother Mary Ann Thomas-Page.

As per her wishes, Sharon's remains will be cremated and scattered at the beach, on a nice warm day.  A private celebration of her life will be held for family and close friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations made to the Ronald McDonald House of Delaware. https://www.rmhde.org/

I had the privilege of working with Sharon (or Sherri as we called her) at Sharon Sheet Metal for many years. Her smile illuminated a room and she was a gentle and kind woman. You instantly knew how proud she was and how much she loved her son Lenny each time she spoke about him. I will forever remember you.
